Who is Zefanja?
As a child I have always felt connected to horses, and this has never passed. Promoting the well-being of these beautiful, fascinating animals has always been a great motivation for me.
In 2013 Sharon May-Davis came into my life, she gave courses in Anatomy, Biomechanics and Dissections for Equine Studies.
After a year Sharon reported, I do not want to come back if you do not have a skeleton Zefanja.
“A skeleton really benefits your training center”.
So said and done and I bravely went to inquire about a skeleton.
It was easier said than done.
And I started collecting parts that I was proud to present in the courses.
And Sharon saw my passion for the profession and I asked her if she wanted to teach me the trade.
Her answer was “of course” and my great adventure began.
My partner at the time had buried a horse in Australia and we would dig it up for the Training Center.
Sharon would come to the place to teach us how to prepare a skeleton. And so it happened.
It was a huge job, but I enjoyed every minute of it. Even though I smelt awful.
Finally I knew one thing for sure!
This is what I want to do the rest of my life.
I feel like a privileged person that I can learn and work side by side with Sharon May-Davis.
In addition to all of this, we also started joint research in 2016, with the aim of sharing what we discover with you. ‘
